At Salt For Your Soul, we are believers in a natural, homeopathic lifestyle to care for the body, mind, and soul. We know that lives today are busy; too busy. With work and family demands, we often put everyone else first, neglecting to take care of ourselves. We have many incredible ways to improve your mental and physical health. We truly believe in the saying, “The more relaxed you are, the better you are at everything”.
As Salt For Your Soul has evolved in the six plus years since we opened, we have found that our client base has expanded, and we are not just a salt and float spa; we are a community wellness center. We will still have multiple ways to relax and improve your mental and physical health, but our focus will be to educate, relax, and support whole families. We look forward to continuing to get you salty, soon!
Meet our Staff
Shauna Hale, Owner
I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University, and an Applied Educational Neuroscience certificate with an emphasis on Adversity/Trauma and the Brain from Butler University. I use the knowledge gained from this program to help people self-regulate and calm their nervous system. I am not a stranger to trauma; I am a thriver of domestic violence from my first marriage and had to heal myself. This experience allows me to help those that find themselves experiencing similar trauma.
I am also a traditional naturopath, which focuses on a holistic approach to support the body’s natural healing processes. I use blood chemistry to match each client to herbal supplementation. My true passion is finding the root cause of any ailment and helping my clients balance their bodies naturally.
My journey to holistic health has been long and amazing. I found that as I grew older, traditional medicines and antibiotics not only didn’t work for me anymore but were making me feel worse. I am allergic to every antibiotic on Earth, so I had to seek other alternatives to keep me healthy. Herbs, meditation, and other natural approaches to health worked and made me feel even better. This business reflects who I am; each and every part. I want to share with the world my philosophies and beliefs on natural healing, as well as giving back to those in need. When I’m not at Salt For Your Soul, I love spending time with Finn and our four children: Connor, Olivia, Charlize, & Trinity.

Darren Hale
Darren is a fifth grade teacher in Zionsville when not helping out at Salt For Your Soul. He loves helping our clients relax, recharge, and reset with all we have to offer. When not teaching or at Salt For Your Soul, Darren enjoys cheering on the Colts and Pacers, and spending time with our four children: Connor, Olivia, Charlize, & Trinity.
Finn
Finn is our official greeter. He is very friendly, and loves to lay outside in the warmer months to welcome new and returning clients to Salt For Your Soul by walking them to the door.

Trinity
Trinity is our youngest child, and Shauna’s mini-me! She is in the Dental Hygiene program at Ivy Tech. When not at school or Salt For Your Soul, Trinity loves spending time with her boyfriend and rescue dog, Alex.
